[Cherokee-dev] "Out the box" support for .htaccess/PHP apps

I know the main consumer of Cherokee is probably people like me: application
developers who deploy onto a VPS who spend most of their time writing their
own apps in 1 framework. I use Django and it's just great under Cherokee...

But occasionally my clients want sites backed by wordpress, drupal, etc and
I've found that setting these things up in non-apache scenarios is a
complete pain in the rear-end.

I know there was some talk about supporting an alternative syntax for
.htaccess but it would be *much* more convenient if .htaccess "just works"
under Cherokee. I, for one, would rather just deploy an application than
deploy it and have to translate its .htaccess so that cherokee does the
correct rewrites.
